Should I aim to score 100%?

CareerSet should be used pragmatically. Achieving a score of 100% is not the goal, and in most cases it is neither necessary nor realistic.

While our algorithms have been tested on hundreds of thousands of submissions across CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles and other application materials, automated analysis may occasionally interpret formatting, phrasing or structure differently. Scores should therefore be used as a guideline rather than a strict target.

In most cases, a score of 70–80% or above indicates strong quality. Focus on applying the feedback that improves clarity, impact and relevance, while disregarding suggestions that may not apply to your individual experience, style or career stage.

Scores are intended as a benchmark to help you understand the presentation, structure and effectiveness of your application materials, supporting you in refining them further.
