How is data handled with the LinkedIn profile review solution?

LinkedIn does not provide an API that allows third parties to access profile data directly. To analyse a profile within CareerSet, users therefore provide their LinkedIn content using one of two methods:

• Uploading the LinkedIn profile using LinkedIn’s “Save as PDF” export function
• Submitting a LinkedIn profile URL for parsing

These approaches allow the relevant profile information to be imported into CareerSet for analysis while remaining compliant with LinkedIn’s user terms.

It is important to note that LinkedIn profiles are typically designed to be publicly visible or shared with broad professional audiences. The information analysed by CareerSet is therefore limited to the content the user chooses to submit from their own profile.

As with all CareerSet tools, the data is used solely to generate feedback for the user and is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
