What happens to the original documents and data I upload?

Our solution design aims to balance minimising data processing and storage with optimising functionality and user experience. Because each product works differently, the way we handle your original content also varies:

CVs: Converted into a feedback report. Where Visual CV Feedback is enabled by your educational institution, the original CV file may also be securely stored within your account to enable document highlighting and enhanced feedback. Where this feature is not enabled, the original CV file is not retained beyond the feedback process.

Cover letters: Stored only for the duration of your session, so we can highlight specific improvements and keyword matches (if a job description is provided).

LinkedIn profiles: Stored so that you can work interactively on section-by-section improvements within the tool.

Interview Practice (audio and video): By default, we store only the text transcript of your responses to generate feedback reports. Audio and video are available during report generation, and you can choose whether or not to save them for later access (for example, by your career centre).

Your feedback reports and any stored documents are retained in line with our Privacy Policy.
