What data is used in Interview Practice, and what happens to my responses?
Interview Practice processes information you provide to generate relevant interview questions and personalised feedback.
Where provided, your CV and job description can be used to generate role-specific interview questions. This information is processed securely for the purpose of providing the Interview Practice session.
Your interview responses are then processed to generate your feedback. Depending on how you choose to practise, your responses may consist of text, audio or video.
By default, your text transcript and resulting feedback report are stored so that you can review your previous Interview Practice sessions.
If you use audio or video, the audio or video recording is not stored by default. It is available while your report is being generated, and you can choose whether to save it for later access. If you do not choose to save it, the recording is not retained.
Interview Practice uses OpenAI as part of its core functionality to support interview question generation and feedback. Only the content required to provide the relevant functionality is transmitted for processing.
CareerSet does not send your CareerSet account details, such as your name or email address, to OpenAI as separate account information, although content you choose to submit may itself contain personal information.
CareerSet uses OpenAI under a business/API arrangement under which submitted CareerSet content is not used to train or improve OpenAI's general-purpose AI models.
Stored transcripts, feedback reports and any audio or video recordings you choose to save are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention periods.
