How is my data handled when using Career Insights?

Career Insights uses the job description you submit within TargetMyCV to generate additional AI-supported insights about the role.

If you choose to use Career Insights, your submitted job description is securely transmitted to OpenAI for analysis.

Your CV is not sent to OpenAI for Career Insights.

The job description you submit to TargetMyCV is stored within CareerSet in accordance with our standard retention policy. Your TargetMyCV feedback report is also stored.

CareerSet uses OpenAI under a business/API arrangement under which submitted CareerSet content is not used to train or improve OpenAI's general-purpose AI models.

Career Insights is optional. Your educational institution determines whether the feature is made available to you, and you choose whether to use it.

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
