What data is stored when I use ScoreMyCV? Do you store my CV?

When you upload a CV to ScoreMyCV, the system analyses the content to generate a feedback report designed to help you improve your CV.

By default, CareerSet does not store the original CV document. The content of the CV is processed to create the feedback report, but the uploaded file itself is not retained.

Where the Visual CV Feedback feature has been activated by your educational institution or authorised partner, the CV PDF may be securely stored within your account so that feedback can be displayed directly within the document.

If this feature is enabled:

• You can view your stored CV within the platform
• You can delete the stored document at any time
• CV documents and feedback reports are automatically deleted 36 months after the most recent submission, in line with our Privacy Policy
