What data is stored when I use Cover Letter Feedback?

When you use Cover Letter Feedback, your submitted cover letter and, where provided, job description are processed for the duration of your session and are not retained afterwards.

Your resulting feedback report is stored within CareerSet so that you can access your previous feedback.

Where enabled by your educational institution or authorised partner, optional AI WriteCoach / writing assistance may also be available. If you choose to use this feature, only the content required to generate the requested writing assistance is securely transmitted to OpenAI. This does not result in an additional copy of your original cover letter being stored within CareerSet.

Your feedback report is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention periods.
