What is the Machine Readability check and how is my data handled?

Machine Readability / AI Checks is an optional feature within ScoreMyCV that provides additional AI-supported checks on your CV, including how effectively your CV can be read and interpreted by automated systems.

The feature is available only where your educational institution has enabled the relevant functionality and Visual CV Feedback is available.

If you choose to run Machine Readability / AI Checks, your CV is securely transmitted to Mistral AI to generate the relevant feedback. Your CV is already stored within CareerSet where Visual CV Feedback is enabled, and running the check does not create an additional separately stored copy of your CV within CareerSet.

CareerSet uses Mistral AI under a business/API arrangement under which submitted CareerSet content is not used to train or improve Mistral AI's general-purpose models.

Your educational institution determines whether Machine Readability / AI Checks is available to you, and you choose whether to run the check.
